The Borshch group whose songs rightfully find their listener is a musical group created in Ukraine, whose members perform their tracks in the style of jazz-hopak and punk-rock.

The guys called the project a word that, according to the stereotype, has direct associations with simple and at the same time delicious Ukrainian dishes containing many different components.

The musicians who are members of this group, namely Yuri Zdorenko and Alexander Pipa, were previously part of the "Vopli Vidoplyasova" collective.

These individuals did everything mutually. Together they decided to create this project, making it one of the leading groups today, jointly took Oleg Skripka as showmen, toured Europe together, etc.

Now they have a huge number of loyal fans and admirers.

Initially, the musicians, like good old friends, began to record compositions similar to the way Yuri sang, being in the Vopley Vidoplyasovs collective. The guys tried themselves as a duet, and literally from the first minutes they realized that this is exactly what they need, that everything turns out just perfect.

As a result of the joint work of these two talented people, we now have the opportunity to listen to atonal blues and rock and roll in Ukrainian performance. This show program is considered the most energetic in Europe. It is quite interesting and pleasant to listen to the musical compositions of the “Borsch” ruppa.

Then a certain repertoire was compiled, in which there were newly made tracks of the couple, and several well-known compositions of the late 80s, even during the existence of "VV". These singles raised the musicians to the level of a rock encyclopedia and all kinds of reference books.

The band members, one way or another, comment on some of their singles:

- Of the new songs, the single "I am sleeping" can be distinguished. This is definitely a hit song, catching everyone from the first time listening.

- "Mustapha Ibrahim". This cover was realized thanks to Zdorenko, since the track embodies his temperament to the fullest. The band is also getting the idea of ​​recording a single with Queen tracks.

- Composition "Anya, yo", solo - on one note, riff 2 chords.

- "Forest Robinsons", a song from the years of 1988.

- "Dulia on Vesilla". It says that, according to the Chernobyl omen, at a wedding, in order for the marriage to be happy, you need to show the dupe and say: "For luck!"

- "P'yana Svinya" is a rather specific Ukrainian song.

The peculiarity of the "Borsch" collective can be called the fact that in their performance there is a certain humor, merciless drive, expression and, most importantly, not just irony, but self-irony, which is not remarkable for contemporary artists.

But, nevertheless, they do not consider themselves to be punks, they prefer the title of quiet schizophrenic philosophers who can influence a huge number of people.

Their stage image and presentation are simply unparalleled. Drummer Korzhenko, desperately devoted to his profession, Pipa with his inimitable grimaces and inimitable Zdorenko - here she is, the best band in the CIS.
